Q: What is Home Again Toys?
A: Home Again Toys is a small business dedicated to giving secondhand stuffed animals a new home. We believe in sustainability, nostalgia, and the joy of finding a forever friend.

Q: Where do you get the stuffed animals?
A: Each plush is carefully sourced, cleaned, and prepared for a second chance at love. We find them through donations, thrift stores, and other sustainable sources.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit and debit cards securely through Shopify Payments. You can also check out quickly and safely with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Your information is always encrypted and protected. If you have any questions during checkout, please send us a quick message and we will help out as soon as we can.

Q: Are your toys safe for all ages?
A: Every stuffed animal we re-home is carefully inspected, cleaned, and prepared with love and care. We select only toys that meet our safety standards with no loose parts, damaged seams, or items that pose choking hazards. Each plush is thoroughly surface-cleaned using child-safe, hypoallergenic detergents. While we recommend our toys for children over age 3, we always encourage adult supervision for all children. Your child’s safety and comfort means the world to us.

 Sustainability & Cleanliness

Q: Are the stuffed animals cleaned before shipping?
A: Yes! Every plush is thoroughly cleaned using gentle, non-toxic methods to ensure they’re fresh, fluffy, and ready for cuddles.

Q: Why should I choose a secondhand plush over a new one?
A: Choosing a pre-loved plush helps reduce waste, keeps toys out of landfills, and gives a perfectly good stuffed animal a second life all while still feeling like a brand-new treasure!  We have found that secondhand plush toys create a unique opportunity to bring joy in their next adventure and continue their story on a new adventure with you.

 

 Orders & Shipping

Q: How is my order packaged?
A: Each plush is hand-wrapped in kraft paper (to ensure that you can recycle the paper) and tied with eco-friendly twine.  We believe in many objects having the opportunity to be used again, instead of thrown away.  We use eco-friendly polymailers to keep your new friend safe and dry on their journey to their next home.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: At this time, we only ship within the United States.  We hope to expand in the future to include international shipping!

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders are typically processed and shipped in 3-5 business days.  We strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Delivery times vary based on location, but you’ll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.

Q: What is the cost of shipping?
A: We charge a flat $5 shipping fee to ensure your plush is carefully packaged and arrives safely at its new home. As a small business, we believe in honest, sustainable pricing with no hidden markups.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I return my plush if I change my mind?
A: Due to the nature of our secondhand plush, we do not accept returns. However, if there’s a problem with your order, please contact us at support@homeagaintoys.com and we’ll do our best to help!

Q: What if my plush arrives damaged?
A: We take great care in packaging, but if your plush arrives with an issue, please email us at support@homeagaintoys.com within 3 days with photos, and we’ll do our best to help.

 Gift Orders 

Q: Can I send a plush as a gift?
A: Absolutely! Just enter the recipient’s address at checkout. We would be happy to include a special note, let us know, and we’ll handwrite it for you!
